Choices, Choices, Choices... Black? Buckskin? Sorrel? Big, Medium, Little? Flashy, colorful, plain? These mares are all different but have at least one thing in common. They carry the frame overo gene and it is expressing itself in varying degrees on the three.

These three mares have the highly sought after overo characteristics they inherited from their paternal grandsire or great-grandsire ... the immortal ROWDY. We are willing to share these beautiful girls because we do not have a stallion they would be compatible with. The gene should not be doubled up, if bred to a stallion with the LWO gene you run the risk of producing a white foal that has birth defects.

Buy one this month and take off 5% the printed price, buy two and take off 10%, take all three and we'll discount them 15%.

You could save up to $675 and have a super nice herd of broodmares.

		Unicorner Rowdy Spirit - 4-22-97 38" Smokey Black with Star (Sire: Phaze 1 Lone Star Rowdy x Dam: Miss Marge of Unicorner) $ 1000 - This is a big and beautiful B mare. Spirit has that gorgeous Rowdy trademark head with a neat star. She has always been one of our favorite mares. She is a good broodmare that is built like a show horse, she has an excellent bite. She carries the overo gene. She also carries the palomino gene and can produce buckskins or palominos. She is open because we don't have a stallion to breed her to. 		Unicorner Satin Patches - 4-12-01 AMHR 32" Sorrel Overo (Sire: Unicorner Rowdy Batman x Dam: Easter Acres Midnite Satin) $ 2000 - Patches is a pretty and small overo pinto. She has a bald face and blue eyes and patches on the side. She has a good bite and is nice and square built. Patches had a small palomino colt in 2005. She will make an excellent brood mare for someone who is interested in breeding overos. Open at this time because we don't have a stallion to breed her to.. See photos on Patches' page.

NOTE: Most of our miniature horses are registered with the American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR). Some are also registered with the American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA). Please email or call us for more information.

When you purchase a horse from Unicorner Farm, it comes with a halter and lead, a negative Coggins test, appropriate registration paperwork and forms, and a video for first time mini owners. Many of our foals are nominated in the American Miniature Horse Registry's Futurity.
