Many mini owners create costumes for their horse to wear for parades, public relation visits and shows.

Our exhibitors are so creative, and the miniature horses seem to enjoy the extra attention. Costume classes are so much fun. Here are some great examples... click on one to enlarge it.

Part 22 – Costume Class

A. General: Costume classes are to be judged 75% on originality of costume and 25% on presentation.

B. To be shown at a walk both ways of the arena and lined up in the middle of the arena for final judging.

C. Costume entries may be led, ridden, or driven and may utilize one or more handlers, horses and/or other animals. For safety reasons, attendants 16 years of age and older may be allowed in the ring during Youth Costume. Attendant must not interfere or influence with individual’s or equine’s performance.

D. Costumes must be considered safe.
